Welcome to my blog – Junction of Beauty and Love. The title is a play on words. (Play is an inspiring practice.) I imagine this blog to be the junction of beauty and love. Also, I live in Grand Junction, and imagine my community becoming the Junction of beauty and love.

This blog is becoming a collection of poetry. If you wish to see previous poems you can click under “Latest Posts” on the right side of the screen. If you wish to go back to the beginning you can scroll down under “Archive” and click – however, in the archive section only the title appears on the screen and you must click on the title to see the poem. Do not ask me why; I am unskilled at the technical side of blogging.

My intention is for poetry to become a spiritual practice. A mindful, heart-centered practice wherein I sit in stillness – listening. Wherein I open my Self to insight and image that comes from God knows where. Wherein I wander in wonder, playing with language – as prayer, beating my chest and bellowing like the beautiful beast I am.

I am hopeful that this blog will encourage my poetic practice. I am hopeful that poetry will flow into my everyday life – bringing me often to the Junction of Beauty and Love. I am hopeful that my practice will remind me to be attentive, stirring me into the happening – to simply be, like a bumbling bumblebee.
